Client was arrested outside The Boot, a bar in New Orleans, so wearing what the officer alleged was illegal body armor and subject to a barrage of verbal abuse.
This occurred in front of numerous witnesses in the middle of the night and the officer was motivated by his having taken offense at a shirt the plaintiff was wearing.
