Jeremy Kemp is an associate attorney in this office. He earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 2018, and then earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2021. During law school, Jeremy was on the Pace International Law Review, starting off as a junior associate, and subsequently as a productions editor. He was also selected to serve the federal judiciary as a part of Pace’s Federal Judicial Honors Program. Through this program, Jeremy was a judicial intern for the Honorable United States District Judge Kenneth M. Karas for the Southern District of New York (who has since become a United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Judge, in addition to his duties with the Southern District of New York).

Before interning with Judge Karas, he had internships with the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General and the Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services. After interning with Judge Karas’ chambers, he interned for a securities litigation firm for a year. After law school, he worked, as an attorney, for a firm that practiced in civil litigation, Social Security law, and Workers’ Compensation cases. He handled a number of complex cases at this firm. Following this, Jeremy joined Pat Brown’s office in a pursuit to return to criminal law. At Pat Brown’s firm, Jeremy’s primary focus is in the areas of criminal law, civil litigation, and appellate law. He is licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
